A live set that brings Ramsey Lewis's rich grooves to the stage, capturing the essence of his studio sound in a concert setting for the first time. Beautifully produced by Tom Tom 84, the performance maintains a classy Chicago vibe, spanning Ramsey's late Cadet Records years through his evolution at Columbia in the 70s. The core trio is enhanced with fuller horn arrangements on most tracks, giving the set a touch of Earth, Wind & Fire/Kalimba Productions groove.
